W.Gar Richlin

Gar has spent most of his career working with emerging growth companies. Prior to starting Richlin/Dale LLC in August of 2005 with Jim Dale, from 2001 to 2005 he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Advertising.com, the leading performance-based provider of marketing solutions for interactive advertisers and publishers. Advertising.com, a venture-backed company, was purchased by AOL in August of 2004 for $435 million.

Before to joining Advertising.com, Gar was from 1998 to 2001 the COO and CFO of SITEL Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange global provider of outsourced call-center services to large corporations. Gar joined SITEL from Alex. Brown & Sons, where he was head of investment banking from 1991 to 1998. During that period, Alex. Brown was the leading investment banking firm to emerging growth companies. Prior to joining Alex. Brown, Gar was a partner of Piper & Marbury, the predecessor firm to DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary, where he worked primarily with emerging growth companies.

Gar received his BA (with honors) from Wesleyan University and his JD from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was an editor of the Georgetown Law Journal.
